Busy London Sunday, Part 2

After we ensured Dad made it back to Paddington in a timely manner, we decided to head down to the South Bank, where the Thames Festival was in full swing. Actually, it spanned a fairly substantial distance along both sides of the riverbank, but South Bank was convenient to get to.

The South Bank was bustling with a smorgasbord of culinary stalls, various performers, interested tourists, zealous officials and sundry weirdos. We were treated to a display of Morris Dancing.. hard to believe the Brits once ruled half the world!
